Since 1926, The Christmas Festival Association in Las Virtudes, a humble in Villena, has made the dream of Christmas holidays stay alive.
The emblematic hamlet of Las Virtudes turns into an authentic Hebrew village, scene of biblical events that will be performed by the neighbours themselves.
Standing out among all the activities, we can find the masses with orchestra, the classic Christmas concert, and of course, the arrival of The Wise Men to Villena, with the corresponding Parade through the streets of our city.
However, the most important acts are the Sacramental Scenes with the Adoration of the Three Wise Men, the Flight to Egypt and the Slaughter of the Innocents.
The performance of the Adoration of the Wise Men begins on January 6th at 12:00. The following Sunday, at the same time the Flight to Egypt takes place.
The Christmas festival of Las Virtudes is declared of Local Tourist Interest by the Valencian Region Government.
